66. We didn't want Russian casualties, which makes sense

Even if the Russian connections weren't there, we wouldn't want to kill Russians. Russia's presence in Syria makes things more complicated. They made the right call, even if it gave the Syrians fair warning.

I don't understand why so many here don't understand we shouldn't be killing Russians. The Russian connection is a separate issue.
