Programmer Pyotr Levashov reportedly suspected in US election hacking arrested [View all]

Madrid: A Russian computer programmer, Pyotr Levashov, has been arrested in the Spanish city of Barcelona, a spokesman for the Russian embassy in Madrid said on Sunday.

It was unclear why Levashov was arrested. The embassy spokesman declined to give details for his arrest, and Spanish police and the interior ministry were not available for comment on Sunday.

What is weird about this news story it is accompanied by a video where Sen. Richard Burr is identified as NC-D and one of the chairs of Senate Russia investigation who admitted (1:06) he voted for Trump and yet vows to remain impartial in the investigation. Damn.

On edit: The video apparently incorrectly identified him as a Democrat. FAKE news yet again!
