52. Geek Tragedy has it right.

She lost the election. That she actually won the popular vote is irrelevant given the stupid Electoral College.

She doesn't need to re-emerge from anywhere, although it is perfectly appropriate for her to get out there and speak up for the causes she most cares about.

She should absolutely NOT run in 2020, if for no other reason than, as has been pointed out over and over, we need to let a new, younger generation come to power.

To me a huge problem with the 2016 campaign was that the three finalists (Bernie, Donald, and Hillary) were all a generation older than the out-going President, Barack Obama, and I thought that no matter which one of them eventually entered the Oval Office, it would be a mistake. Yes, Hillary would have been infinitely better than Donald, but I hope that someone at least thirty years younger than the current Oval Office occupant moves in some four years from now.
