He knows they were gassed, he just TRULY believes as does almost everyone else in the WH that Jewish people are not innocent and were exterminated for a reason.

I am telling you this is his mindset. Jewish prisoners were killed because they were Jewish, so in the mind of a white supremacist like him, they were not innocent.
