(4,742 posts)First off Perez has basically just started running the DNC...cleaned house the past two weeks. The race in Kansas wasn't supposed to be anywhere competitive at all. Late polling only had it a tight race the past few weeks. As a Dem who donates money I don't want to necessarily piss money down holes that won't move the needle. Everyone was surprised how close this race actually was last night in Kansas. It is easy to armchair quarterback and blame the DNC for not helping but in a district where the former Rep won by 30 and the Preident won by 27 I would also have decided early to not go gangbusters. There are 435 races in the House next year. 33 Senators, I don't know how many Governors. We need our fire power for next year's elections.
I would agree that it is smart for the DNC to do what they can to help in georgia and Ossoff. That IS a close race.
