(89,980 posts)Takes all kinds, I guess. Another thing I wonder - is this something that's on the increase in the public? That would route straight back to trump, too, making it okay to be utterly loutish, out loud and in-yer-face, whenever you damn well feel like it. A strike against political correctness - which itself is just another name for common courtesy. Those who, when asked, hail trump because "he tells it like it is," and then answer the next question with "yeah I know he's lying, and I don't care." I wonder how raw and on edge people's nerves are now? My husband was recently complaining that he feels so much more touchy and out-of-sorts since trump took our White House.
This is in NO way an attempt to excuse the behavior of the bully in the OP. I just wonder if we're gonna be seeing more of this. A new syndrome that psychologists will begin documenting: the trump-effect.
