15. Tax dudes can be a very good idea.

I've used one for some years now. My taxes are sufficiently complicated, and my time is sufficiently worthwhile, that I'll happily pay someone to do them for me. Of course, what I consider complicated, others here would think easy-peasy.

Another nice thing about having a tax dude is that having the appointment to go in to get it done, means I pull everything together for that appointment, and don't wait until the very last minute to do them myself.

If you'd get a whole lot more money back by using a tax dude, then you should. Just my opinion.
