thinking. I was just listening to NPR today and this undocumented immigrant's best friend apparently voted for Trump. She was feeling remorse. She was sorry for her decision. He didn't tell her to go fuck herself.

By all means, let it out, but I hope at the end of the day, people are less willing to hold a grudge, and more interested in talking to these people as if they know they mean well. Giving them that credit goes a long way to fostering empathy between you and making actual discourse possible. Thinking of them as vile, or deplorable...I get it, but if we do that, I guess we don't have that much of a problem with the way things are, because that is not a fucking solution.
