seemingly not accepted her more. Or if this is a new thing for her.

That thing's a bit hurly for me, too. But I'm a little dismayed at some of the...reactionary responses downstream. This isn't the cave, after all. Strikes me as a little hypocritical and contradictory to require this 23-year-old to somehow have the wisdom and balance to rise above the level of those comments and also to have no loyalty to her father.
