i think it's pretty self evident that bullying is just one symptom of paternalism. it's the age old battle of the alpha wolf vs. the beta and omega wolves. it goes much further back than our society or even our species. it's an animalistic leftover from our pre-human days that we still haven't shed. it's not human. at least not fully evolved human.
