are searching for the necessary verification of what they have come to believe is true before publishing, and that's just the media. But they're dropping hints of more to come.

As for the various official investigations, as well as information developed by our various intelligence services outside the official investigations, no doubt those are turning up a LOT of information we are not aware of.

Note that early on, when our intelligence services were under preemptive attack from the Rump administration, leaks from the heads of multiple intelligence services kick-started media coverage and public awareness and forced congressional and FBI investigations. Now they're back to silence as this plays out.

Also note that the media cannot report by law on names/events that are designated secret for reasons of national security. Give the huge scope of the investigations, touching a number of nations, at least dozens of entities, and hundreds of people, it's reasonable to assume that some key elements may be under a media blackout right now.
