1. To all those Fed government haters: This your tax dollars being spent to help you and others.

Huge government funded healthcare and medical research through the NIH. Hope some private drug company doesn't get dibs on this and patent it and charge an asshole of money for use of the technology. So much of drugs on the market initially had their research funded by the government and then the drug companies turn around and gouge the taxpayer and pretend it's because they spent so much on research. Too bad the research system is so well hidden from the average taxpayer (who probably would not understand the Federal grants system anyway.)
