pro-choice candidate for mayor...while ignoring national elections that could take back the house. It is personal for me...I had a miscarriage in Georgia and was rushed to the hospital where I was place in a room by myself bleeding profusely and unconscious while my pro-life doctor waited for 'proof' the fetus was gone...an ultrasound had clearly shown this previously. My husband was traveling and arrived at the hospital just in time to save my life. My dear husband fired the doctor, and a young intern/resident saved my life...I needed a complete transfusion and had to be tested for hep C and aids for years...still can't give blood. I became infertile. I had gone to the doctor's office that morning and told the nurse I felt something was very wrong...she said the doctor would not even see me until blood work came back...I was always wishy washy on abortion as I had miscarried before in New York where you had a simple D&C and it was done. I was fortunate enough to have children already, but you always want another when you miscarry...After this pro-life doctor was fine with allowing me to die for his fanatical pro-life ideology, I understood why abortion is a health care issue...and that women will die without that right...and while I might vote for a pro-life Dem if they were the only choice (Tim Ryan evolved on this issue), I say now I will not vote for anyone who supports this pro-life guy period. This is not a case of holding your nose and voting for the Democrat...this is actively supporting a pro-life candidate ...I find it appalling. As far as I am concerned, it amount to throwing women under the bus and is a betrayal of progressive values.
