Yah, that's just a crazy price new. Now, I've noticed you can still buy the records at some antique-style shops too for a reasonable price, but stores here are -really- pushing the vinyl at $35. I have no idea who in the actual hell they think has any money at all in my city, but those stores are standing while our big retailers die. *shrug*
I'd love to get an old Blue Oyster Cult, Juice Newton, or maybe Heart, but even then I wouldn't have a player. So I'd still just end up on YouTube.

I got a new copy of the White Album on CD because I really loved that record on vinyl.

I have always preferred the analogue sound of an LP to the digital sound of a CD .

The sound of vinyl is certainly not "better quality" from a mathematical perspective.
