98. You should never, ever leave a tip that is less than 15%.

It is theft, pure and simple. Most of the things you are punishing the servers for are the fault of the kitchen or the restaurant's management. And you are kidding yourself if you think that leaving a lower tip improves the service. Learn something about the service industry before you brag about how you like to punish servers for minor mistakes:

Especially if you're someone who supports Bernie's ideas, you should be sensitive to how difficult it is to make a living in the restaurant service industry.

Your post makes me angry. There is a kind of classism or entitlement or lack of humility in it that's really disturbing. And it's incredibly insensitive to punish people for minor imperfections. Try to have some empathy for your fellow human beings.
