2. His view of addiction is hardly unusual sadly

If she had died of an OD instead of cancer what he said would have not been all that contraversial to many people. To me there is very little difference between drug addiction and cancer, neither are moral failings and both can be deadly. Either way, her death at such a young age is nothing short of tragic.
