Sending the First 100 Days out with a Bang? [View all]

I'm concerned about Trump's summoning of the Senate for a mass meeting at the White House. I'm having trouble finding a reason for such an unprecedented thing.

What worries me most is the possibility that Trump might initiate an preemptive strike on North Korea that would begin about the time of that meeting, and then announce it as a fait accompli to the assembled Senate and then do a mic drop and walk out.

That would certainly be a Trump-like move as an "accomplishment" in his first 100 days.

It's probably unlikely, but it does worry me.
