13. Reportedly, McConnell requested that all Senators go to White House grounds?

Why?

They could have been briefed in the basement of the Capitol.

So why would they pull such a stunt?

The Old Executive Office Bldg houses the NSC, is my understanding. Do they have some special "intelligence" that they want all the Senators to see? I would hope that most Senators would be very skeptical about what they see today.
