Dems challenge Pence to support proposal to ban 'ex-gay' therapy

Yeah, there are a lot of important issues out there. But the actual agenda is largely driven by the White House and the congressional majorities. Introducing this bit of go-nowhere legislation provides a little grist for the media mill, shows people that the Democrats stand on the right side of an issue, encourages those fighting the good fight, and lays down a marker for future discussion and debate.
