In 2012, NC Congressional Democratic candidates got a majority of the two party vote while the GOP got 9 seats to our 4. We also won the majority of the two party vote for the General Assembly and the GOP got veto proof (3/5) majorities in both houses.

Ironically some of the gridlock in Congress was self-inflicted by the GOP.
