2. If Maddox gets elected to the US Senate in 2017 like the way Scott Brown got elected in 2009,

He will have to face re-election for a full 1st 6 year term in 2020, He could lose in 2020 due to Trump's coattails.
If Maddox gets elected Governor in 2018, he has the power to veto any Republican gerrymandering for the 2020 census.
AL Democrats is better selecting a conservative Democrat like Bobby Bright or Bud Cramer to run against Roy Moore in 2017.
