22. Like so many items in this disturbingly abnormal presidency,

and the preceding election and campaign, this shuttling via bus of the entire Senate to the White House is absolutely unprecedented in my lifetime (and Truman was President when I was born.) It's like some 1950's Hollywood toga and sandals Roman epic pic in which the mad Emperor Caligula or Nero summons the Senate to him.
