Just being fired doesn't change it. I manage this kind of stuff now for civilian workers and a person who gets fired or loses a job is just moved inactive.

Now if you were fired for mismanagement of classified information or a criminal act than the security manager for your agency or company would have to report that, and the decision to revoke the clearance would rest with OPM or whomever issued it.
