Had a talk with a Right Wing friend today about Obama Care..... [View all]

And I use Obama Care as a compliment....

Him and I are 50, at a company with a branch that might close down in 2015.

We always worried about finding new jobs at our age and have always worried about those jobs providing Health Care.

When I told him at least we didn't have to worry about health care now if we get laid off, he said "That is only for poor people or unemployed people". He had NO IDEA that it applied to anyone without health care. I sent him the links and he was shocked. Especially at the price. He actually said "Why does everyone hate it?". He really had a change of heart. I admit he is an idiot GOP person at times but I think this made him question why the hatred.

I think the worst part of this is no one knows the benefits and who it covers. We need to get the word out.
