by which he meant single Black mothers.

Nixon's "law and order" campaign also had pretty serious racist undertones.

And Woodrow Wilson was pretty much openly racist--he did, after all, have a screening of "Birth of a Nation" at the White House and praised the film's portrayal of American "history"--i.e., the glorification of the Klan.

But Trump is definitely out there, in terms of any president of the past quarter to half century.
