Again, if our message is not good enough, and strong enough, and believable enough that it can't withstand some criticism from an elderly socialist from a small state (or anyone for that matter) then the problem goes much deeper.

As for the rest of it about the cheating, I agree completely. It doesn't help to counter any impression or criticisms that Dems are weak and ineffectual when people see this stuff going on, see this cheating, see Republicans blocking everything a Democratic president tries to do, and all they see from us in response to this aggressive action and treason are shrugged shoulders and attempts to be nice and work within the rules. It doesn't help to counter any messaging when Republicans send out attack dogs to every show on cable news and we send out people who talk about policy and the rules and zzzzzzzzzzzzz.
