It is more than a little tiring to listen---day after day, newscast after newscast---to pundits, politicians and other assorted talking heads going on ad nauseum about "Trump policies" and "Trump strategy" and "why he said or did (fill in blank). "If we assume A, B, C and possibly R, what he said/did MIGHT make some sense."
There's a word for this, folks: bullshit---pure, unadulterated bullshit.
Why string together dubious assumptions in an attempt to explain or justify the transparent outrage that is the Trump administration?
Why don't we just employ one common sense assumption that does not require any specialized education, knowledge or experience: Donald Trump is a mentally ill rich kid who handles the Presidency in the same way he has always managed everything: HE MAKES IT UP AS HE GOES ALONG!
He has always, from birth, operated with the knowledge that--- however he screwed up, no matter who he offended---he and his family had the power, i.e., cash, to buy his way out of or past any unpleasant consequences. Why should anyone expect him to change?
Until he is removed from the White House, he will continue to pull "facts" out of his ass and count on his brownshirts to attack anyone who dares to challenge the basis of his "facts" or comment on their smell. And, count on it, we'll have "political consultants" justifying every outrageous event or pronouncement.
