22. I'm sorry but change just for change's sake is ignorance.

I had this argument with a lot of my union friends who loved the Orange Asshole. They, almost to a man, would've happily voted for Bernie, they really liked the things he had to say but when he didn't win the nomination they switched over to Тяцмр. Why? Because they liked the populist things he said and didn't care about the racism or sexism. They're mostly white guys who were tired of being called racist for having racist views they don't recognize as such. I was told "this is a change election, we want change". And of course I said that change for the worst is change but it isn't progress, we'll get steady progress from Secretary Clinton even if she isn't representing radical change. They didn't want to hear it and here we are.

I'm sorry but you're claiming ignorance as an excuse for these people. If you're too busy to know what the issues are or to figure out the massive difference between the two candidates then you shouldn't vote. Being informed is your duty as a voter.
