Bernie's supporters are as diverse as they come. The false propaganda meme that his supporters were all white was deliberately spread

Despite a stream of propaganda from Democratic establishment leaders, a new poll finds that Bernie Sanders popularity extends to minorities and women.
During the 2016 Democratic presidential primary contest, the Bernie Bro trope became a tried-and-true myth propagated by people at the highest levels of the national Democratic Party apparatus. The pejorative first used in late 2015 used to describe Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) most ardent supporters typically refers to young white men between the ages of 25 and 35 who were vociferous in both their support of the Vermont senator and their opposition to eventual Democratic nominee and failed general election candidate Hillary Clinton.

However, a new survey conducted by Harvard University and The Harris Poll disproves all of those comments about the Sanders coalition with hard numbers. According to the survey results, which were conducted among 2,027 registered voters between April 14 and April 17, 2017, Sanders is actually more popular among women, African Americans, Hispanics, and Asian Americans than white people and men.

I'm saying that it refutes the abovementioned statement that Franken couldn't win because he's funny

Yes, I was one of those votes. I can still clearly see that she should not be our candidate in 2020!

If Bernie had a problem w/minorities in the past, he definitely does not now.

I don't agree that Bernie will be too old to run but I do think he has shown less appeal

But I thought Bernie was "not a democrat". At least that's what I've been told...

It is the same principle. He is a politician who is left to left of center. (eom)

Are we more interested in a progressive, moderate, or conservative Democrat?
