Really, what is the appeal of Republican assholism?

15. Part of it is the Need to Prove that their way is the RIGHT way by professing all others to be WRONG

It is the

Win - Lose
Us - Them
Black - White
All - None

Mindset that prohibits their ability to fathom that there is more than one RIGHT way/answer ....

Because then how can they really be sure their way is right unless everyone elses's way/answer is definitively Wrong....

That's why they feel compelled to FORCE others to abide by their ways & beliefs ....
because theirs is the only right way and
the more people they can convince or force to join them reinforces their confidence that they truly are RIGHT to feel/believe/behave the way they do.

So they target those who lack the self confidence to resist peer scrutiny...
and offer them the opportunity to become part of the RIGHT group and receive the acceptance and approval of those who share the RIGHT values & beliefs

And demonize those who do have the confidence to stand firm in their beliefs despite peer scrutiny.
