(885 posts)Too bad I stopped working there a few months ago. I'm sure I would have all kinds of stories related to the supreme court's descision.
I was obligated to keep my politics to myself, but I would give plenty of WIIFM information to them. Once I was done, they'd pretty much stop their complaining. "Oh! that's not so bad!", I'd usually have them saying by the end of it.
The truly partisan ones would get a bit huffy at the fact that it wasn't some plot to screw them, and then... They'd add their children back to coverage.
Maybe one day, I'll write about the guy that wanted to cancel his coverage because "They let that N in to the Whitehouse, and now he's going to start the death panels on us whites!". Pure hilarity once he understood that he was talking to one of those "N"'s.
