Nothing went out over the air.

Anyone who knows what he said either gleaned it via context and lip-reading and understands what it meant (and is thus adult enough to hear it) or did research on the internet to find out. Nobody who watches Colbert would have been harmed.

It's no worse than anything introduced to the lexicon by the so-called President. (cough)grab'embythepussy(cough).
