because they are hostile to the Democratic message. They mentioned Clinton only in connection with the fake scandals the GOP ginned up while muting her speecvhes, much the same as they've done with every Democratic candidate since Reagan abolished the Fairness Doctrine. The media can't be counted upon to get any sort of message out except "vote Republican."

The next election is going to have to be fought at the purely local level, the old fashioned way. It can also be fought online, but given that most news portals will be hostile, that will be an uphill battle, too. Whatever social media have morphed into by 2020 will undoubtedly be a help, but local and grassroots efforts will have to be the bulk of it.
