You ride in, thinking this is an easy job where you're the boss, giving orders, and everybody else does as they are told.

Then you discover that you do not know what you need to know to do your job.

You discover that you're in fact not even the boss, just the head of a branch. Your co-workers hate you and start mobbing and sabotaging you.

You think you're some bigshot and bragging how you won the Electoral College will impress people so hard they will immediately accept you as their leader. Except that people somehow do not care that you are THE Donald Trump!

Every single day the press is badmouthing you.

Nothing you do and say is ever good enough.

Every single good thing happening to you is promptly ruined by other people.

Your job is slowly sucking life out of you. You only live for the weekends where you can go golfing and relax.

There is just so much to do and there's nobody you trust who can get this done.

Every single day at work feels like being stuck in quicksand. And you cannot quit your job, because that would mean that your enemies have won.
