18. "They" would never let it get that far

Because "They" hate chaos. Not good for business. Even if the FBI has the goods and releases them publicly, it won't go anywhere. Too many jobs, too much money at stake. Republicans will use Fox and Breitbart and RT to bury us in a blizzard of bullshit.

36% is apparently too dumb or too selfish to realize how badly they're being played.

My personal guess is, if Trump DOES go down as president, the figurative bleeding stops at Pence.
