Of all the things to rip him over, this is minor. I'd expect that the staff would be attentive to the President's preferences. I mean, if he was celiac, you don't serve him croutons on his salad, if you know he likes extra sauce, that's a nice thing.

But this is a fascinating look into his character that he seems to need "just a little extra" of what everyone else gets. Normally if the President were so concerned with the fact that the pie needed more ice cream, he'd be concerned that everyone else get it too. It's subconscious elitism that strums his ego strings.

I would think under most circumstances, the President would be more concerned with the event and the guests than the ratio of food specifically provided on their particular plate.
