...is going to be swayed by the impassioned plea of...a television announcer? That they aren't so incredibly deep into their own cash and their own sealed off, bubbled world -- a world that neither borders nor intersects with our own -- that even IF they had ream after ream of data, they'd just release it to us to 'help us out'? Having seen the unified yawn to the genocide of Rwanda, do you REALLY think 'the world' will come to our aid?
I was taught conservatives were the 'religious' ones, but this requires more faith than literally anything I've ever heard in my life, and with less evidence than the Bible itself.
EDIT: It occurs to me that maybe I've become a bit more cynical in the time I've been watching the opposition. Ugh. My apologies for that, it's not entirely intended.
