In reply to the discussion: EXCLUSIVE: Sealed Indictment granted against Donald Trump [View all]L. Coyote
(51,129 posts)104. How soon did Trump start obstructing justice?
Obama did not try "to get rid of Dana Boente" who he appointed to his job. Obama only changed the order of Justice Department succession. Was this because Boente was too busy investigating Trump, Manafort, Flynn, and the rest of the Russia connections?
Did Trump fall for a brilliant Obama chess move which Obama didn't even know was a chess move?
Wiki: He was nominated by President Barack Obama on October 8, 2015, and confirmed by the United States Senate on December 15, 2015, as the 60th U.S. Attorney for the EDVA.[10] He was appointed by President Donald Trump as Acting Attorney General on January 30, 2017, after Acting Attorney General Sally Yates was dismissed by Trump earlier that evening.[11]

There are specific, detailed rules governing the procedures for federal grand juries.

If the grand jury was conveyed by the FISA court, it is likely a NatSec case.
