2. I've found that it affects how I feel about someone

if I discover they voted for, or like, trump. It actually does affect how I feel about them. In the negative. It's a major league black mark on their ledger, for me. Tells me things about them that they wouldn't be too happy to hear (and surely wouldn't want known). Call it "the Mark of the Deplorable."
