Brown Bear hit crossing 210 Freeway in Southern California

4. Well, there's this freeway divider, and she had already crossed the eastbound lanes.

She was apparently hit after she climbed over the divider, but still made across three lanes into to the bushes on the other side of the freeway and was still moving pretty fast from the pictures, so it was probably more of a bump than a head on. This apparently happened around 9 in the morning, rush hour was petering out, so traffic was light enough that most people could probably slow down or swerve to avoid her.

Whoever clipped her was in the fast lane - probably doing 70+ and couldn't react quite quickly enough when she popped up into his/her view over the divider into the lane.
