...say for the sake of argument that at the right moment, the GOP "establishment", insomuch as there is one, helps plant the knife in Trump's back. Mike Pence becomes President. Hallelujah, the Republic is saved, we've had our Revolution of 1688 moment. The media demands that we all get on board and congratulate ourselves on the return of "normalcy". Pence, Ryan, Turtleman...their involvement is swept under the rug, and the "stridency" of some Dems to investigate it will be frowned upon by every patriotic, right-thinking American. Could this possible really happen? Is this too cynical, even for the media? This would be a worse result, as far as I'm concerned, than the Madman staying in office...
