If it is Israel, then there will likely be some upcoming issues. The right may actually start to turn, but then the other side will be overjoyed that Israel was the country betrayed, especially to the Russians. This will ultimately be bad for us as a country because if the "president" was "outed" Israel, what other nation who considers themselves allies with us will ever take a risk with sharing information with us, not knowing if it will end up in Russian hands, especially France, Germany, and the UK.

There is a possibility it could have been Jordan. I have read a few accounts from foreign papers that Jordan has actually been quite good at gathering information on ISIS.
