33. This is nowhere near as bad as I expected.

By now I was expecting to see a radiological false-flag strike on American soil, out-and-out civil war, and a true, overt Hitlerian or Stalinesque dictatorship.

I did not expect Trump to be such an visibly incompetent buffoon. The fact that he is gives me hope that the USA could get out of this crisis as a single, functioning nation. That's not guaranteed yet, but it doesn't look like the you're going down the nightmare road I envisaged after the election and especially just after the inauguration.

The current situation actually comes as a great relief to me.
