(58,319 posts)33. Yup. Trump CURTSIED to the despot AFTER he put the medal on his neck.
Sure, he bent over for the Saudi despot to adorn him with the gold medal, but AFTER it was placed on his neck, he dropped lower, i.e. CURTSIED. That second drop was clearly not necessary to get the medal on. It was obviously already on. And it was not a further bending at the waist--his whole body dropped at the knee--it was a curtsy. It appeared to be his show of appreciation to the despot for the gold bauble.
That was a total show of fealty.
