which, is not uncommonly used to keep oneself calm during public speaking to important/unfamiliar/stress-inducing audiences. With jet lag on top of it, a 70 yo man is going to be rather "out of it".

The problem with it is that use of beta blockers "dulls" the mind a bit too--not like a sedative, but it prevents the adrenaline rush that usually makes for a more engaging performance from those speakers capable of doing so.

Not saying there may not be many things wrong with Trump, both physically and mentally, but I"m not seeing what the source link claims.
