but have you talked to any trump true believers lately?

I know that a lot of us try to avoid them, but it is a good idea to sample their opinions once in a while. They are still firm in their support of him. They are angry people, infected by Fox News propaganda. Nothing shakes their faith. They can shrug off the 180 degree turns, the lies, the contradictions. We are in a lot of trouble here.
