Republicans think they are only hurting their arch enemy, poor people, but those millions of impoverished consumers spend every nickel they have just trying to survive. When all those households suddenly lose the majority of their purchasing power, that disruption will ripple outward and become a significant threat to our economy that will affect both retail and wholesale businesses.
