1. How the mighty do fall.

I am not a football fan much less a Penn State fan. But, no matter where someones sports allegiance are, the idea that to protect the "program" something like child molestation would go unreported or under reported, that the concern of the molester would out weigh the concerns for the molested is simply disgusting.

I feel if institutes of higher learning would put education over the sports programs, if the fans would be concerned of the multimillion dollar contracts for coaches while the science department is being underfunded then this may not have happened.

I can't believe if this was the head of the biology department no one would have hesitated one millisecond before calling the police and firing the professor.

This was unacceptable and if all the claims are deemed to be true I have no sympathy for Penn State at all.
