I had to quit school in 82 because my paltry earnings was TOO much to qualify for a Pell grant. I didn't finish college until I was 45 because of what Reagan pulled. And yes, I remember my sister and her husband were paying 13 or 14% interest on their mortgage. Those days were awful. I remember working in a restaurant and had to start claiming the 8% tax on my total sales for those tips whether I made a 8% tip or not. Reagan raised my taxes and I worked part-time! I'm just glad I never voted for the smuck.

Actually Reagan raised taxes tremendously in 1982, on the backs of working people...

actually it was even worse, the top tax rate in 1988 kicked in for individuals making only $17,850
