Demonize the press, have Trump lead mobs in screaming at media who attend rallies to report on them. Call Katy Tur out by name till the crowd is so whipped up that the Secret Service is sufficiently concerned to send a detail to make sure she gets back to her car safely.

AFAIC there is a direct correlation.
